This forum brings together some of the leading voices in photovoltaics to discuss the future of the field. The growth of photovoltaics for solar energy conversion has been phenomenal, and the technology will be increasingly important for global electricity needs. We will explore the ways in which experiment and theory have successfully combined in the search for new photovoltaic materials and in optimizing the efficiency and cost of already-established materials.  This forum will discuss the needs for new photovoltaic materials including their potential efficiency, cost, and scalability. <br/><br/>The panelists will each make a 30-minute presentation. We will then have a moderated discussion for 1 hour.
