Sixteen coins that are apparently from various Greek city-states or from the Roman Empire were analyzed via EDXRF for copper, silver, gold, lead, tin, zinc, cobalt, arsenic, iron, and nickel.  The analyses were conducted to determine if findings of the elemental make-up of each coin could indicate whether or not any were counterfeit.  Elemental compositions will be presented and their significance discussed.<br/>
