Fischer α-alkoxycarbenes and aminocarbenes of group 6 are useful reactive intermediates that have been used to make a wide variety of organic compounds. Direct aminolysis of alkoxycarbenes with amines produce pentacarbonyl aminocarbene derivatives in moderate yields. The reactions of this type of carbenes with alkynes give mainly aminophenols instead of aminocyclopentadienes.<br/><br/>This research highlights the preparation and early reactivity studies of the aminovinyl carbenes toward alkynes in the Dötz reaction.<br/>
