The Stonehill College Chemistry and Biochemistry Club has been celebrating chemistry for over twenty years. The club focuses on creating an interactive and service based experience for undergraduate chemistry and biochemistry majors. Overall, during the two semesters the club organizes events that benefit the community and its members in three main ways. First, we encourage students to plan academically by sponsoring faculty research nights and career nights. Second, we aim to provide opportunities to service the community by volunteering at National Chemistry Week. And finally, we celebrate Chemistry by providing events such as a mole day party. New to the club this year, we plan to integrate green chemistry programs into our events to help raise awareness on campus.
