Several National Science Foundation (NSF) programs support projects focused on chemistry education research and practice. In this context, staff from the Division of Undergraduate Education will discuss NSF's merit review principles and how they can guide the proposal writing process. Other proposal-writing strategies and resources, including the NSF/IES Common Guidelines for Education Research and Development, will also be discussed.
