Since the invention of the point contact transistor over 50 years ago, semiconductor technologies have become a ubiquitous mainstay of our Society.  Continued advancements rely heavily on the materials chemistries used for the fabrication of active electronic and photonic devices. This presentation will explore the array of polymer technologies used in electronics applications, along with key fundamental materials parameters that may facilitate the design of materials structures with control at the nano- through macroscales. The interplay between molecular structure and associated processing will also be discussed.  <br/>
