Glycosylation plays an important role towards defining the product quality circle of protein biologics expressed in mammalian cell culture. Protein glycosylation has been shown to have a significant impact on the efficacy, pharmacokinetics, and immunogenicity of multiple therapeutic proteins. Controlling N-glycosylation can be achieved from several different methods.  The choice of culture media supplements and the resulting protein glycosylation profiles is one of paramount importance.  In the present work we highlight the use of over 10 different supplements, many never reported in the literature, for fine turning and coarse tuning protein glycosylation profiles of multiple proteins.      The compounds we have identified, and the methods highlighted, have helped provide a toolbox which can enable exquisite control of the glycosylation profiles for new and old products.
