An efficient greener Poly-L-Ornithine polymer manufacturing process to make custom molecular weight polymers have been developed. These polymers are characterized by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (1H and 13C NMR) spectroscopy, Viscosity and Gel Permeation Chromatography Multi-Angle Laser Light Scattering (GPC MALLS). The new greener process increased the yield, scalability and quality and, also reduced the cycle time and energy consumption.
