Often in high school chemistry class settings it is extremely difficult to support students with learning disabilities. The POGIL strategies that improve overall student mastery and retention of chemistry concepts can also support students with learning disabilities. In this session we will analyze common accommodations included in 504 Plans and explore specific teacher behaviors and class procedures that help students with learning disabilities succeed in a process-oriented, guided-inquiry learning environment. You will leave with increased confidence to include LD students in your chemistry classes.<br/><br/>
