Eastern Florida State College (EFSC) recently wrote a grant to produce 50 STEM degree graduates over five years from low income backgrounds.  The centerpiece of the grant is the writing and use of 150 POGIL activities in 15 different classes, which include computer science, data managment science, and chemistry/biochemistry.  By promotion of the POGIL methodology to colleagues, an instructor was able to inspire other instructors to adopt the POGIL methodology in courses oustide of chemistry and enrich student learning.
