A recent survey of the undergraduate curriculum shows that there is incredible diversity in what we teach in inorganic chemistry and how we teach it.  This talk will blend both community and personal perspectives to provide an opinion on the skills our student should have, the content that is essential in an undergraduate inorganic course and the ways that we can engage our students to understand both the relevance and beauty of inorganic chemistry. What should we teach, how should we teach it, and does curricular placement matter?<br/>
