In this presentation, a brief overview of ATLAS.ti will be provided to highlight analysis of qualitative data on problem solving in stoichiometry and thermochemistry. Qualitative semi-strucured interviews were conducted to gather data from students at graduate and undergraduate level and faculty in chemistry. The data was analyzed using ATLAS. ti qualitative research package. The findings will highlight problem-solving stratgies of students and faculty with an emphasis on the method of analysis.
