<i>John Anderson works in research and development for Dow Chemical in Midland, Michigan.  An employee for 34 years, he has held roles in process engineering, manufacturing and technical service.  Since 2001, he has been developing and applying tools to estimate manufacturing costs to identify new products and processes that are promising, economically.  Anderson received a B.S. degree in Biology from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 1979 and an M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Wayne State University in 1981.</i>
