Polyolefins have become the highest volume commercial class of synthetic polymers. During this presentation, I will provide an overview of my industrial experience at Dow Performance Plastics, focusing on finding the most effective technologies to determine polyolefin structures and developing new polyolefin products through innovation. This journey has been full of joy, excitement, team work and many unexpected surprises. It has provided me a significant opportunity to learn, contribute, and influence the field for which I am passionate. It has broadened my technical expertise and our professional network from cross function organizations, instrumental manufacturers, software development and academic collaborations. I received my PhD in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University of Canada in 2002. I currently serve as the subject matter expert in polyolefin structure at Dow Performance Plastics R&D, located in Freeport, TX, principle investigator for external collaboration of Dow, the board of the Applied Polymer Technology Extension Consortium.<br/>
