NSF Program Officers and Administrative Staff will provide a special session especially for future faculty, early career faculty, and new principle investigators. This session will focus on NSF basics: understanding the NSF Merit Review Criteria and the NSF proposal submission process. Presenters will give an overview of the NSF Division of Chemistry core research programs. Strategies for preparing a competitive proposal will be suggested. The presentation will include a panel discussion with current NSF Program Directors.
