GDC-0853 is a novel BTK inhibitor for the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. We will discuss our recent efforts toward the process design and development of GDC-0853 commercial synthesis. The talk will focus on the highly efficient API end-game and starting material synthesis, including the implementation of high-throughput experimentation in a challenging chemoselective C-N coupling and continuous process in a key formylation reaction.
