Recent efforts to achieve redox switchable polymerization of esters and epoxides by (salfan)Zr(O<sup>t</sup>Bu)<sub>2</sub> have been challenged by chemical oxidant interference. Utilizing bulk electrolysis methods, one can bypass the need for chemical oxidants and reductants and potentially achieve one-pot redox switchable polymerization. Application, achievements, and limitations of these methods will be presented.
