Recently, solution-processed metal oxide-based materials have drawn much attention in the fields of electronics/displays, memories, photovoltaics, and catalyst due to their unique optical, electrical, chemical properties, and wet chemical processability. Despite the latest advance in many practical applications, however, the low-temperature activation and large-scale processability have been a bottleneck to the realization of flexible metal oxide electronics, bio-electronic interfaces, and energy-related catalyst. In this presentation, we report the successful fabrication of low-temperature metal-oxide thin films, particularly focusing on sol-gel oxide dielectrics by using deep UV irradiation while a general UV-photoactivation mechanism on the high-quality sol-gel oxide film formation was investigated by various spectroscopic and surface analysis methods. Additionally, we also demonstrate a novel large-area printing and self-patterning methods for all-solution sol-gel metal oxide thin film transistors and <i>in vitro</i> bio-electronics interfaces. Finally, we briefly introduce solution-processed metal oxide nanoforest catalyst for efficient thermochemical hydrogen generation with low-temperature DUV-assisted vacancy regeneration.  <br/>
