The Regis University Chemistry Club consists of students and professors whom strive to establish and maintain a community in which happiness is pursued through chemistry. This has led the club to promote science in their community and assist Regis University students with finding opportunities within chemistry related careers. The student membership and engagement within the club has significantly grown since its revival in 2013. The growth can be attributed to the strong student leadership and the student driven activities that the club sponsors. Some successful recent activities have been the mentoring of a science club at a local elementary school, Chemistry Science Sunday that last year brought over 300 elementary school age children to perform hands on chemistry experiments, our biannual professional development lectures, and the biannual students vs. faculty chemistry Olympics. Our student run organization is associated with the American Chemical Society which has been awarded an honorable mention as a student chapter in 2014 and 2015.
