UC Chemicals is a cloud-based program under active development that is designed to function as a robust chemical inventory and compliance reporting tool for the University of California system.  The programming team has worked closely with all of the UC campuses to create a user-friendly chemical inventory system that meets researcher needs and provides a comprehensive chemical inventory system.  The goal of the UC Chemical Management Application is to improve research efficiency, achieve cost-savings, and ensure chemical safety and security. This discussion will include database features necessary for accurately conveying hazard information to end users and educational challenges facing the user base for establishing accurate identification and hazard assessments.
