ORCID iDs are unique, persistent identifiers for researchers that provide name disambiguation, and support automated linkages in research workflows.  Project Credit is an open source taxonomy that is developing contributor roles (badges) and attribution models to provide transparency to researcher contributions to the scholarly literature.  ORCID and Project Credit are collaborating to develop a method of assigning badges to individuals based on their contributions.  Clearly identifying contributions of individual authors is a growing concern in the sciences, and is especially significant on papers with high numbers of authors (i.e., cases of hyperauthorship).  This paper will provide an overview of ORCID iDs, Project Credit, and how they can work together to assure researchers get credit for their work.<br/>
