Lithium salts doped room-temperature ionic liquids (RTILs) have generated much interest in battery applications. In general, the addition of a lithium salt decreases the conductivity of RTILs. This experimental observation has been modeled empirically, but describing their transport properties empirically does not provide molecular-level insight into the properties governing transport. The compensated Arrhenius formalism (CAF) provides this molecular-level insight by modeling transport as a thermally activated process. Using an Arrhenius-like expression, the CAF yields an energy of activation and exponential prefactor. This work applies the CAF to conductivity and viscosity data for 1-alkyl-1-methylpyrrolidinium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide [C<sub>n</sub>MPyrr][TFSI] (n=3,4,6,8) doped with Li TFSI. The CAF results are compared with results from the neat RTIL to investigate the decrease in conductivity upon Li salt addition.
