The Centenary College Chemistry Club has continued many of its traditions from years previous, and was awarded an honorable mention for its activities. There were programs provided in all of the reporting areas- Service, Professional Development, and Chapter Development. For National Chemistry Week, the Chemistry Club again partnered with local American Chemical Society in providing an outreach event to the area public schools. The event was held at Sci-Port: Louisiana’s Science Center. The members of the club volunteered by helping to set up, facilitate, and take down the event. The Chemistry and Physics Circus was also held, with different demonstrations performed and explained by Chemistry Club members. The traditional faculty- student social events of the Chemistry Club were also held, with a waffle brunch in the fall and a progressive dinner in the spring. Members of the Chemistry Club also attend the National ACS Meeting every year as a way to share our ideas, polish our presentation skills, and return with ideas from other organizations. Business meeting were held in accordance with our schedule to keep everyone up to date and organize our efforts towards our different endeavors.<br/>
