A phenoxy-imine titanium trimerization catalyst and and a silylene linked cyclopentadienyl-amido titanium polymerization catalyst are co-immobilized on methylaluminoxane/silica particles to create a tandem catalytic system to generate linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) from an ethylene only feed. The 1-hexene incorporation into the polymer can be controlled by varying the ethylene pressure.
