One of the most critical criteria when choosing a content resource is the comprehensiveness of its content. While some database producers do not make this information readily available, CAS, a division of the American Chemical Society, makes it easy to find. From CAS REGISTRYSM to MARPAT® to CASREACT®, the topical content covered in the CAS content collection plus the time period of coverage is available online from the STN Database Summary Sheets and other sources on the CAS web site (www.cas.org).More specific questions about content can be directed to the CAS Customer Center. This presentation will discuss key aspects of coverage in the CAS content collection and how you can locate this information efficiently.
