<br/>Dr. Stengler will describe his recent activities on and about science in film, including his websites on Michael Crichton and on Time-travel and his research about the depiction of robots in movies and on science communication via online videos. In the light of the insights gained in this work, he will also discuss thoughts about the role of science in film and TV as part of a dialogue between science and society, particularly regarding controversial issues.
