We wish to describe the development of new methodologies for GSK medicinal chemistry projects through our ongoing collaboration with the University of Stratchlyde.  New heterocyclic and chiral cyclopropane boronic ester synthesis as well as a new late-stage oxidation of a range of secondary and tertiary saturated N-heterocycles to form γ-, δ- and ε-lactams shall be discussed.<br/>
