Productivity of modern medicinal chemistry requires automated synthesis and high throughput purification instrumentation that can process a large number of crude samples within a meaningful timeframe. The presentation will focus on the implementation of a Super Critical Fluid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (SFC-MS) technology platform that can produce ~10,000 compounds/month and can adapt to a variety of purification and analysis problems. The evaluation of innovative sub-2 mm stationary phase chemistries and silyl ether formation under basic and neutral condition has been carried out. Finally the benefits of an enhanced SFC-MS technology platform to increase productivity and decrease costs in drug discovery will be presented.<br/>
