Organic chemistry drawing tools have been traditionally visual in nature allowing chemists to represent drawings in two and three dimensional forms. By their visual nature, it has never before been perceived to be possible to communicate such visual information in another form. The Atomo iOS application being developed by Universal Design Applications has devised a way for text-to-speech i.e., “VoiceOver”, on an Apple product can be used to describe verbally what is being drawn while the information is being constructed. This presentation will demonstrate this new application. Feedback and beta testers are being requested to provide feedback on how this application can be improved. It is the intent of the presenters to make this application available by Fall 2017.
