The study of heterocyclic compounds is an evergreen field in the branch of organic and medicinal chemistry and always attracts the attention of chemist working not only in the area of natural products but also in the synthetic organic chemistry. The thiazole nucleus is of considerable interest as this ring is the key constituent in a range of bioactive compounds. We have designed, synthesized and characterized series of compounds containing thiazole moiety. These molecules show considerable anticancer and antimicrobial activities and therefore merit further development.<br/>
