We recently embarked on a program aimed at developing hands-on learning modules for blind and visually impaired (BVI) chemistry students Interlocking toy building blocks (e.g., Lego and magnetix) as chemistry learning modules for BVI students in high school and undergraduate general chemistry students will be presented.  Building blocks were assembled on a base plate to symbolize the relative changes in the periodic properties of the elements. Modules depicting the size of an atom, size of an ion, ionization energy, VSEPR theory, and electronegativity were assembled. Building block modules demonstrating the molecular orbital theory of diatomic molecules, and the electron configuration of elements were assembled. A survey to assess the usefulness of these modules for BVI students was administered. Responses of high school and undergraduate BVI students who participated in the survey will be presented.<br/>
