The Sacred Heart student affiliate chapter of ACS works tirelessly to bring chemistry into the community. Our goal has been to get our neighboring community more involved in and excited about chemistry. On campus, we have held many fundraising and free events for fellow students in order to spread the word about our club. Through these events, we aimed to get others to love chemistry as much as we do while also raising money for the club and having some fun in the process. In addition to campus-wide events, we also bring the excitement of chemistry to kids in local elementary schools. Every other week, a few members of our club conduct experiments and demonstrations for elementary school age children. No matter what we have been involved in, the members of the ACS student affiliate chapter at SHU truly knows how to bring fun into chemistry.
