A high throughput system for CHO process development was created to enable the execution of large screening studies of typically 96-192 reactors.  The system uses disposable shaken tubes as the culture vessels.  Unlike most shaken reactors, these have been modified to allow for at-line pH monitoring and control.  The addition of pH control has improved the comparability of the high throughput reactors to traditional benchtop bioreactors.
