Introducing new researchers to federal funding initiatives is easier due to the annual Chemistry Early Career Workshop. The Workshop, sponsored by NSF's Division of Chemistry, enables early career investigators to prepare their proposals including sections on Broader Impacts and Data Management and Postdoctoral Mentoring Plans. Attendees will have the opportunity to practice their "pitch speeches" and talk with NSF Program Directors to determine the fit of their research to programs of interest. Sample NSF proposals will be reviewed to give insights on the proposal writing and ranking processes. Find out how to get involved - or how to get your colleagues involved - at the young faculty, postdoctoral fellow, and graduate student levels.<br/><br/>This poster will also provide information on key aspects of NSF proposal submission: the Data Management and Postdoctoral Mentoring Plans, Letters of Collaboration, Results of Prior NSF Support, and Broader Impacts. NSF Program Directors and Administrative Staff will be available to discuss proposal compliance checking and how to prepare a successful proposal.
