The principal investigator sets the tone for safety in the research laboratory. At Princeton, EHS is committed to developing a culture where safety and health are core values, adopted and practiced throughout all levels of research. We’ll discuss the efforts taken at Princeton to enable our faculty and lead researcher staff to foster a culture of safety including, our Principal Investigator Briefing and supporting resource booklet, and the implementation of a compliance data management computing resource used by each of our research faculty to manage health and safety in the lab.
