In recent years, benzoxazines have generated great interest in both academic and industrial areas because of their capability to generate advance thermosets. Substituted benzoxazines have shown lower polymerization temperature, high thermal and mechanical properties. This work discusses the correlation between the electronic influence of the substituent group and the polymerization temperature of 6-substituted benzoxazines. To that effect, the empirical Hammett constant were considered alongside natural charges wich were calculated using theoretical modeling.<br/>
