Poly(ε-caprolactone)diacrylate (PCL-DA) networks are shape memory polymer (SMPs) where covalent cross-links act as netpoints, and PCL crystalline domains act as switching segments.  Above the transition temperature (T<sub>trans, </sub>~45-60 °C), the PCL-DA network softens due to crystalline lamellae melting, which allows for temporary deformation, and subsequently induces shape recovery. Due to their unique SMP properties, PCL based materials have been widely explored for biomedical applications. We have previously explored the use of PCL-DA SMP foams as self-fitting scaffolds to fill and heal irregularly shaped cranial bone defects.  This SMP foam, when treated with warm saline, softens and can be conformally fitted to a defect, where, upon cooling the foam will stay fixed tightly in the defect. The ability to conformally fit provides the essential contact with adjacent bone that promotes healing and integration.  In this work, in order to tailor degradation rates and mechanical properties, we have created semi-interpenetrating networks (semi-IPNs) films in which thermoplastic, poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) was incorporated into the PCL-DA network.  By systematically varying the ratio of PLGA to PCL-DA, we were able to alter the tensile modulus and strength, as well as, increase the rate of degradation. These behaviors were related to percent crystallinity of the semi-IPNs as measured by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Porous foams (scaffolds) of these semi-IPNs were also prepared and evaluated, and the pore erosion that accompanied degradation was assessed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM).<br/>
