Difficulty in processing of MOFs in their native form, as micro-crystalline powders, has proven to be a major limitation in efforts to integrate MOFs as engineered solutions in real-world applications.  As such, development of platform technologies that allow facile integration of active MOF species with myriad substrates and in various form factors is critical.  Integration of MOFs into engineered hybrid structures by combining these microcrystalline powders with a polymeric matrix, e.g. mixed matrix membranes (MMMs), is proving to be an exciting route toward improving the processability and handling of MOFs.  We describe progress toward fabricating MOF-polymer hybrid materials with high loadings and a variety of MOF species that maintain the characteristic activities of the MOF species such, e.g. high-porosity.  The properties of the hybrid materials, including porosity, thermal stability, and mechanical strength, are explored with an eye toward integration of these materials into functional textiles.<br/>
