We theoretically predict optically thin metallic substrates facilitates high-Purcell (&gt;10<sup>4</sup>), high-efficiency (&gt;50%) gap-plasmon spontaneous emission with vanishing gap size. The enhancement is almost spatially uniform and does not suffer from quenching that commonly exist in previous structures.
