What are the challenges facing early career scientists? What are the professional skills that they are still lacking after graduation? For the last few years, AAAS has been addressing these questions to better serve both its members and the larger science community. With only roughly 15% of new scientists able to secure a position in  academia, many are either unsure or even unaware what other career opportunities are available. Even for those who do, many still do not have the professional skills needed in such a competitive environment. AAAS is the host of MyIDP, an effective and popular tool to help STEM researchers in honing their potential career paths. Furthermore, in May 2016 AAAS launched the Career Development Center, providing career resources such as MOOC-style online courses. This session will explore these current resources and also cover live event, hybrid learning, and other professional development opportunities being developed.<br/>
