For over ten years, the Interactive Online Network of Inorganic Chemists (IONiC) has sought to improve teaching and learning in Inorganic Chemistry. The foundation of this community is the Virtual Inorganic Pedagogical Electronic Resource (VIPEr) website. With over 1,000 registered faculty users from around the world, VIPEr is a vibrant community of practice for committed educators. The feature of the greatest value to the majority of our users is the continued development of high quality learning objects (LOs) which range from problem sets to laboratories to literature discussions. The site currently houses approximately 900 LOs including several published at our most recent VIPEr mini-Workshop held in conjunction with the ACS Middle Atlantic Regional Meeting (MARM). Many of these have been developed at our summer Back to Grad School Workshops.
