Recently, the potable electronics has been demanded for high-performance energy-storage systems which is lightweight, ultrathin, flexible and foldable. Among various energy-storage systems, supercapacitor has been focused in energy-storage systems, because of their higher power density, cycle efficiency, and charge/discharge rates as against batteries. In case of conventional capacitor, it is hard to meet the practical requirements for portable electronics owing to heavy, thick, bulky and rigid properties. To develop flexible capacitor with high capacitance, the electrode materials for flexible supercapacitors are need. In case of a metal-based electrode, there is no problem to meet various physical properties such as good electrical and mechanical properties, high power/energy densities, excellent cyclic stability, meanwhile it has a great limitation of flexibility, thickness and weight. Thus, to give a paper an electrical properties let it not only have a great advantage environmentally but also satisfy the mechanical property advantages because cellulose is an abundant natural biopolymer that can be easily obtained in nature. In this study, the surface of cellulose constituting filter paper was modified by using aniline. Polyaniline(PANI) is a well-known material as a typical conductive polymer. Thus, we conducted a reaction to polymerize PANI using a hydroxy groups presented on the surface of the cellulose as an initiator and imparted conductivity to the filter paper, consequently. And then, the Electric Double-Layer Capacitors (EDLC) was prepared using two kinds of the activated carbon materials (graphene and CNTs) and PVA/H2SO4 solid electrolytes were applied and characterized their capacitance performances.
