Direct and indirect electrochemical oxidation is one of powerful advanced oxidation processes to remove anti-oxidative organic matters from food, textile or other industries. It is generally used to pretreat the aforementioned organic compounds as an advanced oxidation process (AOP) to be able to be oxidized in conventional oxidation proceeses. Dimensional stable anodes (DSAs) are broadly applicable for the AOP. However, it might cause the difficulty in optimizing operation parameters or non-selectivity for target organic matter due to the formation of by-products. To solve those disadvantages, in this study DSAs for electrochemical oxidation reactions was introduced to convert highly anti-oxidative organic matters into biodegradable ones.<br/>In this study, Ir-Ru-Ta based Ti electrode was prepared as DSA. Wastewater from coffee products was treated by electrochemical oxidation. Using the DSA, direct and indirect electrochemical oxidation of the wastewater were carried out. To investigate the electroactivity and stability of the DSA to the wastewater various voltammetry of the DSA was studied. The treatment efficiency of the direct and indirect electrochemical oxidation processes was analysed by HPLC and TOC and was compared.<br/>
