The majority of chemists (including members of the American Chemical Society) work in the private sector, which highlights the importance of an academic preparation with emphasis on skills and knowledge needed for students to enter the industry workforce. In this seminar, the speaker will provide his perspective on areas of importance beyond the fundamentals of chemistry and science, and what could be done to benefit students prior to launching their professional careers which will prepare them for a successful global career.
