Organotin-containing polyethers and polyamine esters have been synthesized employing the interfacial polymerization process using commercially available reactants.  Structural characterization has been accomplished employing light scattering photometry, infrared spectroscopy, MALDI MS, and proton NMR.  The products show formation of new IR bands characteristic of R-O-Sn for the lamivudine and R-C(O)C-Sn and R-NH-Sn for the dipeptide.  MALDI MS shows formation of ion fragment clusters containing tin for both of the products. <br/>
