This presentation will provide an account of two-decade long summer research opportunities availed by the author in the industry, academia and in the national labs. It will also illustrate how these efforts inspired him to be more involved and engaged with students. Data of student’s success in various STEM competitions such as chemistry Olympiad, Advanced Placement, chemistry research at a high school setting will also be shared.
