Discovery for new superconductors is always one of the most attractive area in solid-state chemistry. Until now, BCS theory that is focusing on electron-phonon coupling still predominates. But with more and more high-temperature superconductors being reported, the conventional BCS theory is not able to explain the insights. As a chemist, we believe that the structures and bond interaction are related to how superconductivity is generated in superconductors. Besides this, the chemistry concept can always be taken into consideration in the solid-state area, for example, Zintl concept. In this talk, I am going to introduce some of my work and superconductors I found with explanation in chemistry view.
