The versatility of sulfur and its compounds in various oxidation states and the generation of masterials based on this element, from simple polymers to lithium batteries will be presented. Cotributions to organic metals, organic electronics and batteries will be presentes. These range from coordination polymers (now known as MOF), charge-transfer salts, conjugated polymers and a lithium battery.
