Current technologies for biomarkers quantification usually require multi-step sample preparation and lengthy processing that prevents timely characterization of biomarker level changes. Fast and simple methods for monitoring biomarker concentrations changes simultaneously have the potential to realize the promise of using biomarker signatures as a tool for human performance characterization. Here, we present a multiplexed biomarker detection sensing platform based of DNA aptamer-gold nanoparticle conjugates (Apt-AuNPs).  By taking advantage of the multiple interactions in the system: nucleotide-AuNP surface, analyte-DNA and analyte-AuNP surface, a cross-reactive system with tuned reactivity toward analytes of interest was developed. Plasmonic sensor variation was shown to produce unique data fingerprints for each chemical analyzed, supporting the application of multivariate statistical techniques to annotate unknown samples by chemical similarity.  In this poster, two examples will be described in detail: i) A system that can identify if a white powder is one of eight controlled substances utilizing a few micrograms of material, and ii) Early demonstration of a system that can identify and quantify biomarkers.<br/>
