Nitrogen heterocycles are the central structures for the chemistry of life that offers wide variety of reaction types in biological systems. A series of biologically relevant nitrogen heterocycles, substituted pyrazoles and triazoles with different substitution patterns, synthesized both by developing new methods and by adopting simple and versatile synthetic procedures based on the requirement. We have also developed a new approach for the synthesis of bis-heterocyclic compounds. All the synthesized heterocycles tested for the antimicrobial activities and the results indicated that they possess good inhibition effect against the tested organisms. We will present the synthetic approaches and the results of antimicrobial activity screening.<br/>
